Something else they need to sort out is the "Relationship" AI! I have been playing '12 recently...and got into a war with Cena...this is after his comeback from injury that I administered in the first place...he kept doing the cheap shot thing (attacking me before and after matches) and we had a series of "Remarkable Matches" that led eventually to an extreme rules match where I beat him so badly he was stretchered out with an injury again!

So you're thinking...ah! The relationship between Cena and me would be at Rock Bottom! But what happened next was completely bizarre! The following week I am scheduled in a tag match with a "mystery partner"...but it turns into a handicap match...then as I am being pinned by R-Truth...Cena storms in, breaks up the pin and attacks R-Truth.

The match is re-started as a Tag Match, with Cena as my partner!? Now apart from the fact that we have been warring like the US and Afghans for weeks...he is supposed to have sustained a career threatening injury at my hands! Would he  instantly become the guy that saves me in a handicap match!? I don't quite see the logic myself!?

It is also this random kind of WWE Universe AI that is keeping L.O.D. and Demolition as the top 2 tag teams exchanging the belts every other PPV!  Now I appreciate the need for "Classic" roster members...however...no matter what I do to remove them from the "active" universe roster (I have placed them in Free Agent and other "fed" choices to no avail!), they won't stop being part of the "current" roster (the fact that Hawk is legally dead should be good enough reason!). They need to make it so that you can take them out of it completely if you want to! Actually I'd prefer it if they had a "Classic" Universe mode that would include only CAWS and the "Classic" Roster so you could run an "old-school" universe but I guess that will never happen!?

Ajax! I knew there was good in you! lol! Let's start the REVOLUTION and get them to release WWE '14 using the SD!2 engine!

I agree, Pete. The main event to my last wrestlemania was a One on One match between McGuillicutty, who hasn't been used since he lost his tag title, and Tatsu, who was last used as a jobber around six months before wrestlemania. So the booker is a giant idiot. I also frequently get David Otunga put into WWE title matches despite his only use being part of a jobber tag team and Tyson Kidd is always booked in opening matches against random superstars, even though he is my WHC and feuding with CM Punk.

Yeah I downloaded tew2005 six months ago and just put a real world mod on it and it's so much fun, still I like what thq do with the wwe franchise and I think wwe 13 will either make or break thq.
oh and hctp is my favourite of all time svr06 is a close second (once they took away fighting back stage it lost something imho)

Haha, i've been playing here comes the pain recently, enjoying it alot, and, coincidently, i've ordered SvR06 the other day. That should be here next week so that would be fun :)

But yeah, Mike Tyson? Seriously? Isn't that a little... Stupid?

Although I haven't played a SvR game since 2009 so I can't say much for the ones after except that '12 actually looked decent. Still, you gotta think, if you have '12, would it be worth shelling out for '13? Might not be much different, we can only speculate.

The Attitude Era mode seems pretty cool to me, but from the roster 'leaks' we've been seeing, they don't have much of the up and coming young talent n the WWE in the game. Which I believe is a big minus, WWE seem to have a problem building young stars. Among other things.

All I can see about WWE 13 is they need to sort out all the niggling bugs that plagued WWE 12. I mean the WWE Universe option was good but it always seemed that the cards were upside down with main event guys like Triple H and Cena opening and for some reason, I always seemed to get a divas match as the main event.

Anyway, the attitude era side of it is a big draw for me but I think I'll hold out to see the reviews before dropping the cash on it

THQ have got it horribly wrong for WWE 13:
1) Someone tell me why Mike Tyson's in the game, but not the old Chris Jericho (Because part of the trailer showed NEW Jericho on the OLD RAW WTF!)
2) If they haven't updated ANY of the entrances for this game I'll die (Seriously, Mark Hnery's default entrance in 12 was proof enough)
3) If the servers are as bad as they were in 12, I think I'll make my own CAWs!

And don't get me started on that piece of crap WWE Brawl!
Yes, I know.

With Mike Tyson being Pre ordered,I hope THQ isn't lazy and gives him generic wrestling moves, instead of boxing moves, also we want to be able to bite someone's ear off as a finisher.

Ohhhh yeah what a comeback!hmmmm so WWE'13 hmmm...Nah i bet this year will be just like last year,i remember when they announced The Rock as a pre-order content i was like WTF?!,i sure can wait a couple of monthes and send like 80 to 85 MSP,but once again no last year's DLC's were horrible as fuck i mean seriously wasting DLC space on Masked Kane?!The old One?!i mean the new one would've been cool but the most important thing is REAL superstars, ohhh and yeah let's not talk about the 5-10 years old Online users,or as they're called Quitters really pisses me off,i mean it became a tradition buying the WWE games each year i remember SvR 2006 (my first WWE game)the graphics were Bad but the gameplay will whoop WWE12's gameplay ANYTIME!!

Either THQ wakes the fuck up or EA sports starts handling WWE games,Period.

Let me re-iterate:

I'm still wishing they would just take SmackDown! 2 and re-programme it onto cuurent gen platforms with updated graphics, rosters and storylines! That was the best damn game ever! The 20 year, same room multi-player (that's 4 people you can physically touch and have a laugh with because they are sitting in your bedroom/living room/gaming room...not faceless ass-hats with turbo button pads on XBox Live who frankly spoil the experience for me!) career mode was to die for!

I bought it on release day and my friend and I played it for 36 hours straight!

This is ALL that needs to happen to WWE '13 or '14...no more fucking around THQ just do this one thing and make everyone so happy they will shit themselves with so much glee that THQ won't ever go under because people will just love the fact you finally listened to the so called WWE gaming community you are supposed to take the ideas from (I don't actually think that happens!).

I'd rather have a robot combat game, an alternative to Robot Arena 2.

Some of the features I would like to see implemented into WWE 13 are as follows:
Universe Mode: GM Option
This would be an option that you could turn on in Universe Mode where you could opt to be the GM. I know its almost like that as is but here are some the elements in this option.
Having to actually buy talent for your show and manage their contracts. (Much like what we have in TWC 4: Fight. I think the only time something like this was implemented was in the SvR 2006-2007 games. This would be for the players that are interested in mostly playing as a GM.
Total control over the calendar and show editing
This is something that should have been done in WWE 12. If I want to have a live Smackdown event on a Tuesday, I should be able to. If I want to make a special Saturday event, I should be able to do that too. What was the point of having up to 12 brands in your universe if you couldn't let them have their own show? Not to mention being able to make those shows have their own titles. One of the things that annoyed me with WWE 12 is that you had the option to edit the Superstars show on Thursday. If you wanted to turn that into ECW you could but at the cost of the show not having its own championship. Also the ability to set up all your matches before starting the show should be an option as well. I really hate when I get random match ups on a PPV when I have been building a feud between a Champion and a contender.
Create a Championship
I know many fans have been asking for this back for a while. With the new universe mode we could actually put those CAC's to good use. I am half hoping that THQ brings it back.
Ability to edit the stage as weel as the ring
Of course I knew the first installment of Create an Arena wouldn't give us many options, but they should build upon that and let us edit the stage as well. I would love to recreate some of the old PPVs from the past such as Halloween Havoc and Judgement Day.
These are only wishes of course, and I know they may not be implemented. One can dream though. :P
